Capturing Hollister’s New Look: A Store Re-Fit Project with Silvaman Group

I recently had the pleasure of working with Silvaman Group, who brought me in to document a complete store re-fit they delivered for Hollister. The brief was simple: produce a set of clean, modern photographs and a short highlight video that showcased the craftsmanship, detail and quality of the refurbishment.

Silvaman are known for their high-end retail build and fit-out work, and this project was a great example of what they do best — transforming a space into something polished, welcoming and on-brand. My job was to capture the finished environment in a way that reflected that same level of professionalism.

Photography That Shows Quality and Detail

For the stills, I focused on clean, architectural-style compositions that highlighted the design, materials and finish. Store re-fits are all about detail: lighting, textures, layout, flow.
I shot a mixture of:

  • Wide, inviting images that show the full space

  • Mid-range shots that highlight the flow of the store

  • Close details that show Silvaman’s craftsmanship

The aim was to create a library of visuals Silvaman could use across case studies, client proposals, social media and their website.

A Short Highlight Video to Bring the Space to Life

Alongside the photography, I produced a 30 second highlight video to give a dynamic sense of the transformation. Video works brilliantly for showcasing retail interiors — the movement, atmosphere and design all come across so clearly on film.

I used smooth walkthrough shots, detail clips and branded elements to create a clean, modern piece that reflects both Hollister’s aesthetic and Silvaman’s quality of work.

A Seamless Shoot with a Quick Turnaround

As with most retail environments, time was limited. The store was due to re-open, so I shot efficiently, unobtrusively and delivered everything within a quick turnaround to fit Silvaman’s marketing schedule.

The final gallery and video give them a strong set of assets to support pitches, website content and future client conversations — a visual record of the quality they consistently deliver.
