For the past seven years I have photographed many weddings in many venues. Here are a few of my favourite venues in Surrey. If your still looking to book your venue, this may give you a starting point or you may even see the venue for you!

Wotton House

If you’re a fan of the great outdoors, then Wotton House should be a major contender for your wedding venue as there are a beautiful choice of ceremony locations, indoor and out.  The historic Grade II listed gardens contain a Roman Temple which make for beautiful and interesting photo opportunities.

Gate Street barn

This lovely little venue has a real family feel about it.  Set in beautiful surroundings, it offers so many opportunities for some really stunning pictures.  I love a relaxed wedding and the location and staff at this venue always ensure your day is perfect.

The talbot inn

It’s not just the name of this place that puts it amongst my favourites!  If you’re looking for an intimate venue with tons of character - this is the place for you.  It’s a quirky set up which might seem disjointed, but i’ve always found the day flows beautifully.

Burford bridge

I love the Burford Bridge. I’ve shot so many weddings there but can honestly say, no two weddings have been the same.  The venue is so versatile that it can be tailored to your needs which allows your big day to flow nicely.  One of my favourite things to do is take newlyweds up box hill for some amazing couple images featuring the fabulous panoramic views of the Surrey hills below.

Horsley Towers

The staff at  Horsley Towers is what makes this venue special for me. - they are just fabulous. Set in beautiful grounds which include picturesque lakeside lawns and a unique secret chapel - there are dozens of picture perfect spots.

Botleys mansion

If you’re looking to stun your guests - Botleys Mansion offers an instant “wow” factor as you drive up to the house.  A beautifully bright interior is a photographers dream as the light streams through to help create stunning images.  I like the exclusive hire Botleys Mansion offers, meaning you can move through the venue at your own pace.

foxhills

A stunning venue which also happens to be most local to me. Many couples stay here the night before the wedding - I’ve been up to the venue to photograph many early morning rounds of golf with the boys.  The pairing of the Manor House and Clubhouse give a magical mix of classic and modern backdrops.  I often whisk the bride & groom away for five minutes after the speeches as the sun sets behind the clubhouse offering perfectly romantic light..

penneyhill park

Pennyhill Park boasts a fantastic outdoor ceremony setting - ideal for balmy summer weddings.  The food served is always amazing and presented beautifully. This is the England Rugby Team’s hotel of choice - and I’m not about to argue with them over it’s quality!

loseley park

SImply put, the grounds around Loseley Park are stunning.  You can choose between the Great Hall or the Walled Garden which means, come rain or shine, you’ll get great shots.  The venue always seems to be in full bloom which always gives a beautiful backdrop.
